Therese Cecile Perron, 89, of Claremont, NH, died on Sunday, August 14, 2016, at the Sullivan County Health Care in Unity, NH. She was born in Albercorn, PQ Canada, on June 20, 1927 the daughter of George and Anna (Paquette) Larocque. She had worked at Claremont General Hospital for a short time and at St. Mary School lunch program for three years. Therese had been a communicant of St. Mary Parish and member of the St. Anne Society, Catholic Daughters of the Americas and the AARP. She is the widow of Louis P. Perron whom she married in 1946; he died on December 12, 1972. Therese was an amazing mother and grandmother who diligently shared her love of Jesus with her children and modeled it with grace. The values instilled in them testify to her Godly influence in their lives. The family includes her three sons, Claude R. Perron and his wife, Kathleen of Claremont, Gilles J. Perron and Ivan M. Perron of Unity; her two daughters, Joane Gaudette and her husband, Keith of Claremont and Louise Broughton of Bixby, OK; 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren; one brother, John Paul Larocque of Laval, PQ; two sisters, Florence Arpin of St. Rose, PQ, and Getrude Briere of Montreal and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Lise Claudette Perron in 1950; one brother, Marcel Larocque; three sisters, Lucille Briere, Simonne Brazeau and Mary Jane Allen and one great granddaughter, Leah. Visiting hours will be held at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Friday, August 26th, from 5 to 7 PM. A service by the Catholic Daughters of the Americas will be at 6 PM. A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Mary Church on Saturday morning, August 27th at 11 AM with Father Shawn Therrien. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
