Julia G. Ayotte, 73 of Main Street in Claremont, NH, died Sunday (October 22, 2017) at her home following a period of failing health. She was born in Claremont, NH, on June 16, 1944, the daughter of Gerald, Sr. and Angeline (Ferland) Moore and had been a lifetime area resident. Julia had been employed by Grobet File Company in Charlestown, NH, for many years and later worked at Wal-Mart. She enjoyed collecting knick-knacks and lighthouses. Julia enjoyed camping for many years at Running Bear Camping area and listening to Elvis Presley and Alan Jackson.
Members of her family include her husband, Richard Ayotte, Claremont, NH; a son, Peter Cloutier, Claremont, NH; one grandchild, two brothers, Jerry Moore, Jr., Claremont, NH; Bruce Brown, Unity, NH; five sisters, Shirley Hodgdon, Charlestown, NH; Anita Spencer, Newbern, NC; Elaine Lemieux, Claremont, NH; Joanne Moore, Charlestown, NH; Gail Matthews, Charlestown, NH, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday (October 26) at the Roy Funeral Home.
Committal services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call at the Roy Funeral Home, 93 Sullivan Street, Claremont, NH on Wednesday evening from 6 – 8 pm.
