Cindy Lou St. Aubin, 64, of East Green Mountain Road in Claremont, NH, died February 22, 2020, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. She was born in Claremont on March 31, 1955, the daughter of Richard and Lois (Lemieux) Barton.
If you asked Cindy, she’d tell you she was a seamstress. The truth is she was a tailor. She could sew anything with or without a pattern. She loved to make things grow. Whether it was her two sons Benjamin and Andrew, a garden full of vegetables, or her beloved rose bushes. She loved the sun and working outdoors on a beautiful day. Of all the places in the world, Cindy-Lou was happiest on the beach next to the ocean. She’d lay there all day if you let her.
Above all else, Cindy Lou was a homemaker. A loving wife to her husband Ronald, and a devoted mother to her two sons. She was an animal lover, welcoming many pets into the family over the years. Her heart was bigger than the sun she so adored.
She is survived by her husband Ronald; her sons Andrew and Benjamin; sisters Nancy Ueda and Sandy Dansereau; brother David Barton; father-in-law Norman St. Aubin; brother-in-law Robert St. Aubin; and sister-in-law Karen St. Aubin. Predeceased by mother, Lois (Lemieux) Barton; father, Richard W. Barton; brother Richard M. Barton; and mother-in-law Christine (Pratt) St. Aubin.
Visiting hours will be held at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Friday, February 28th from 4 to 6 PM.
A funeral service will be held Saturday morning, February 29th at 11 AM at the Stringer Funeral Home with Rev. Father Shawn Therrien officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
