In loving memory Pauline Marie Farris of Claremont, NH, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, August 27th, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Claremont, NH, the daughter of Harry L. Vashaw and Annie (Belanger) Vashaw. Pauline worked many years in the manufacturing industry, including Hampshire Mfg., Pep Industries, and Peterson Plastics.
Pauline was married for 57 wonderful years to her loving husband and soulmate, Charles W. Farris, Jr. Together they enjoyed spending time at the ocean, camping in Maine with their family, and taking trips to Foxwoods. Most important to Pauline was the time spent with her beloved family. All who knew her will forever remember her kindness, generosity, caring heart, and endless devotion to her family.
Pauline was predeceased by their infant son, Charles W. Farris III, her sister Elizabeth “Betty” Cholette, her bothers, Henry, Raymond and Dennis and her parents, Harry and Annie Vashaw.
The surviving family includes her beloved husband, Charles W. Farris, Jr.; their children, Edward Farris and his wife Lana; Timothy Farris and his wife Kris; and Paula Menard and her husband Roger. Pauline also had seven beautiful grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Pauline’s brothers and sisters include Ann Roy, Louise Biron, Barbara LaFrance, Carol Ackerman, MaryAnn Cummings, Cathy Sampson and Tammy Lapine and many nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Pauline’s wishes, there will be no services at this time. The family suggests that memorial contributions be sent to the incredible care team at the Lake Sunapee Region VNA and Hospice located at 107 Newport Road, New London, NH 03257
