Lee R. Chamberlain passed away on December 17th, 2021, in Claremont, NH, after a brief illness.
Lee was born on March 27, 1960, in Claremont. He was the son of the late Paul and Jenny Chamberlain and was one of six siblings. Described as good-natured and hardworking by those who knew him, he was happiest when surrounded by family or working on projects around his property. He was selfless and reliable, always lending a hand to anyone in need.
He was most recently employed at Quail Hollow in West Lebanon, NH, as a valued member of the community who will be missed by the residents and colleagues alike for his positive demeanor and willingness to help. Prior to this, he was employed at Sturm Ruger for over 25 years. Lee also served with the United States Coast Guard.
Apart from work and family life, Lee loved music, coffee, and waking up before sunrise. His sense of humor and kind disposition will be dearly missed, particularly by his grandson Travis Cecil, with whom he shared a very special bond.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Janet; his son Travis and wife Cally of Unity, NH; his son Cory and fiancée Marie of Claremont, NH; his 2 sisters, Gloria (Skip) Lee of Fairview, NC; Frieda Adair of Asheville, NC; and 2 brothers, Fred Chamberlain and partner John Allard of Claremont, NH; Dale (Debbie) Chamberlain of Claremont, NH. He was preceded in death by his brother Gene (Suzette) Chamberlain, as well as his mother and father-in-law, Cecil and Lucienne Adams. He will also be sorely missed by sisters-in-law Linda (Richard) Beaudry and Mary (Michael) Sawchik, as well as a multitude of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Due to COVID-19, a private Mass will be celebrated. A celebration of his life will be held in the spring of 2022 for all to attend.
