Joi Ann (Paquette) Woodman, 60, of Bessie Ave in Claremont, NH, died Friday night December 9, 2016, at Valley Regional Hospital surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Claremont, NH, on November 15, 1956, the daughter of Paul and Georgia (Boardman) Paquette.
Joi Ann was a graduate of Stevens High School in the Class of 1975 and worked as a CNA at Elmwood Center (IHS). She also worked for the Department of Motor Vehicles.
The family includes her parents of Port Orange, FL; her husband of 38 ½ years, Wayne Woodman Sr. whom she married on May 20, 1978; her daughter, Emilee Minckler and her husband Jesse of Unity, NH; her son, Wayne Woodman Jr. and his wife Sarah of Chattanooga, TN; her estranged daughter, Danielle Smith and her husband Matt of Berlin, NH; her four grandchildren whom she adored, Madalyn and Logan Minckler, Elijah Woodman and Lucas Smith; three sisters; two brothers; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded on death by her grandmother Verna Boardman.
Visiting hours will be held at Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Friday evening, December 16th from 6 to 8 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
