Christine L. Martinson, 64, of Park Avenue in Claremont, NH, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
She was born in Claremont on December 15, 1952, the daughter of Emile and Lorette (Favreau) Lambert.
Christine graduated from Stevens High School and Southern New Hampshire University.
For many years she worked as a contract specialist at CRREL in Hanover, NH. Prior to working at CRREL, she worked for the CIA in Washington, DC.
Photography, knitting, tatting, heirloom embroidery and sewing were among her art work passions. She was also a student of the Martha Pullen School of Art.
Her family includes her husband, Carl Martinson whom she married on November 2, 1972; her children, Eric Martinson and his wife, Lisa; Erin Maynard and her husband, John; two grandchildren, Dominque Maynard and Josiah Martinson; three sisters, Annette L. Huntington, Janice L. West and Darlene G. Lambert also many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents.
Visiting hours will be held at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Tuesday, December 27th from 3 to 6 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Church in Claremont on Wednesday morning, December 28th at 11 AM.
Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
