Arrowhead Conditions, Volunteering and Cardboard Sled RaceArrowhead reports that “We have made lots of snow so conditions are great for tubing, skiing and riding. Also ice rink is available for use, so spread the word and come to Arrowhead for some winter fun.“This weekend, Jan 24, 25, 26, will be open Friday night, Saturday and Sunday, probably closed Saturday night for some light rain. “Some of us have been putting in 14 or more hour days making snow and doing other tasks, so a little tired. Please show your support by volunteering or encouraging others to volunteer.Could use some help weekends outside on the lifts and for ski and snowboard instructors and inside in concessions, First-aid and in the ski shop. Also need February vacation days help, noon-4PM daily. Thur. Feb. 20th and Fri. the 21st and week of the 24th. “The Cardboard sled race and pancake breakfast are coming up on February 15th; make your sleds now. Categories are youth, adult, family and business. Rules are basically the same, cardboard and tape only, no tape on running surface, wax the running surface. Make it sturdy and colorful and costumes are encouraged. Challenge your friends, neighbors and other businesses. Pricing structure has changed a little, $10 for one person, $15 for two and $20 for 3 or more." *** UPDATE *** - The subject has been identified. Lebanon Police Request Public Assistance in Identifying Theft SuspectOn January 18, 2020, a wallet was dropped on the ground at a local bank and was subsequently picked up by someone other than the owner. Later that morning, the victim’s credit card was used at two gas stations in Lebanon, charging a total of $308.90. The male seen in the photo below used the credit card to obtain merchandise from the stores without authorization of the card holder. Surveillance video from one of the stores shows he was seen in a dark colored Volkswagen sedan with Vermont license plates. The Lebanon Police Department is asking for assistance in identifying the subject in the surveillance photograph below. Anyone with information on the identity of this subject is asked to contact Lebanon Police Officer Tyler Hewes at 603-448-1212.
