Ada Marion Voudrien, 99, formerly of Claremont, NH, died on August 11, 2017, at the Sullivan County Health Care in Unity.
She was born in Franklin, VT, on December 21, 1917, the daughter Carl and Mabel (Cleveland) Flood.
She was a saleswoman for Avon for 28 years.
Ava enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, crocheting and going to flea markets.
She is survived by one daughter, Meredith Brodeur; three granddaughters, Cindy Fordham, Tammy Swensen and Holly Carrier; two grandsons, Steven Ripley and Richard Brodeur; nine great grandchildren; 14 great great grandchildren and two on the way also nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Leo Voudrien whom she married in 1937; one daughter, Betty Ripley; a grandson, Leo Ripley; one great grandson, Brandon Ripley; a son-in-law, Richard Brodeur, and five half-brothers.
Funeral services will be held at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Monday, August 14th, at 1 PM with Pastor Joanne Thomas of the United Methodist Church officiating.
Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
A reception will follow at Arrowhead Recreation Area on Robert Easter Way.
