CLAREMONT, NH–With Daylight Savings fast approaching on Nov. 4, the City of Claremont Fire Dept. officers and firefighters would like to remind residents that’s it’s a good time to replace the batteries in your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide (CO) alarms. Smoke and CO alarms are your first line of defense when the unfortunate event of a fire or CO incident occurs.
“Seconds count when you and your family’s life depend on those devices,” said Claremont Fire Chief Bryan Burr.
If you need assistance with battery replacement, please contact the Fire Department headquarters at a542-5156 and they will provide help with the replacement.
