CLAREMONT, NH–Yesterday, May 16, at approximately 12:00 p.m., the Claremont Police Department, with the assistance of the NH State Police, effected a search warrant at 47 Myrtle St, Apt #3. Claremont, NH. This warrant was in response to a report of jewelry stolen in Claremont earlier in the day. While serving this search warrant Claremont Police arrested: Jordan Berry, age 24, of Claremont. Berry was a guest of the residents of the location that was being searched, said the police department. He allegedly had a number of different drugs on him and was arrested. He was charged with: Possession of a controlled drug, Klonopin; Possession of a controlled drug, Methamphetamine; Possession with the intent to sell a controlled drug, Suboxone. The charges filed are all Class B Felony level offenses, said Claremont Police Chief Mark Chase. Berry was held on a violation of probation and no bail set on the new charges. A probable cause hearing will be held on May 25 at 1:00 p.m. in 5th Circuit – Claremont District Court. “During the search of this apartment, the property that was reported stolen was recovered along with drug related items,” said Chase in a statement.
