Horace A Kingsbury Sr., 84, passed away at Franklin Regional Hospital on July 28, 2016; he was a lifelong resident of Westmoreland until March 2015 when he moved to the NH Veterans Home in Tilton. He was born on June 11, 1932, the son of Edward and Ellen Kingsbury. He was born again when he accepted Christ as his savior in September of 1994. He served in the US Army from 1949 to 1953, with a tour of duty in Korea. His family includes his children, Horace (Buster) Kingsbury, Jr of Palm City, FL, Mary Wilcox and her husband Brian of Henniker, Michael Kingsbury and Nancy Robinson of Jerome, AZ; his grandchildren, Jeremy Wilcox of Owasso, OK, Christopher Robinson and Michael Kingsbury of SC; his great grandson Phillip Wilcox of Owasso, OK; one sister Virginia Smith and her husband, Walter Sr. of Keene; several generations of nieces and nephews, step children, and step grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife Opal LaClair; his second wife, Ruth Seymour; his brothers, George Kingsbury and Clarence Kingsbury; sisters Louise Wyman, Pauline Sharkey, June Pulkkinen and Helen Field. Services will be held at Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Sunday, August 7th, at 3:00PM. Visiting hours will be held from 2:00 to 3:00PM prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Unity Center Cemetery.
