CLAREMONT, NH–It’s almost time to get down and dirty! That is, for the 2016 Reach The Peak event, which combines mud pools, climbing and other physical challenges. Reach the Peak is set to take place on August 27 at the Arrowhead Recreation Area off of South Street in Claremont. Claremont Parks and Recreation Department and Arrowhead Recreation Group are teaming up again to host this vigorous test of endurance and stamina. The event is open to adults and children who are 11 years or older on the day of the event. There will be a free one-mile kids’ course (for ages 10 and younger) Cost to participate: Individuals, $45 for pre-registration and $50 on race day; team or family of four, $140 for pre-registration and $150 for race day registration. A family of four (4) must include one or both parents and two or three children age11 and older (maximum of four members). The event is limited to 500 participants.
