Thomas L. Rousseau, 59 of Piper Hill Road in Claremont, NH, died unexpectedly on Sunday (August 6, 2017) at his home.
He was born in Claremont, NH, on July 8, 1958, the son of Gerard and Pauline (Lucier) Rousseau and had been a lifetime area resident. He was a graduate of Stevens High School, Class of 1976. Tom was a three-year veteran of the US Army and a four-year veteran of the US Air Force. Tom had been employed by McDonald’s, Claremont Paper Mill, Mt. Sunapee Ski area, Mt. Ascutney ski area and WalMart. He enjoyed being outdoors and was an avid sports fan.
Members of his family include his mother, Pauline Rousseau, Claremont, NH; a sister, Ann Smith, Warwick, RI; three brothers, Michael Rousseau, St. Louis, MO; Alan Rousseau, Bend, OR; John Rousseau, Claremont, NH, and several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
He was predeceased by his father and a brother, Edward Rousseau.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday (August 11) at the Roy Funeral Home, 93 Sullivan Street, Claremont, NH. Committal will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 am on Friday until the time of services.
