He was born in Claremont on January 5, 1952, the son of William Henry and Marie Anna (Rancourt) Cummings.
He had worked for Holson Bakery, Split Ball Bearing and bartended at the Moose, American Legion Post 29 and VFW.
Ted was a member of the VFW Post 808, the American Legion Post 29 and Post 22. He was a past Commander.
He enjoyed watching baseball and football, especially the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. He also enjoyed Nascar and going to Loudon to watch the modified cars.
He is survived by his son, Theodore Cummings Jr; a daughter, Frances Cummings; grandchildren, Tiffany Marini, Isabelle Farnsworth, Craig Farnsworth Jr and Ethan Frost; brother, Henry Cummings Sr; sisters, Janice Converse and her husband, Larry, Virginia Dufresne and her husband, Andre’ and Mary Stone and her husband, Harold; step-son, Calvin Frost also many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, Bonnie (Aiken) Cummings; sisters, Jo Ann Johnson and Judith Cummings; brother, William Cummings Jr; step-son, Chad Frost.
A graveside service will be held at the West Claremont Burying Grounds on Old Church Road in Claremont on Friday, November 30th at 11 AM with Rev. Father Shawn Therrien officiating and military honors to follow.
