We mournfully announce the passing of our mother Susan J. Coleman, 69, of Claremont, NH. After a brief illness, Susan passed away on February 6, 2022. Born to Virginia Durphey and Winfield J. Coleman on November 18th, 1952. Susan grew up in the Hartford, VT, and Canaan, NH, area; after graduating from Mascoma High School in 1969, Susan then attended The Diorrs Beauty college in Burlington, VT.
Susan is survived by her son Brian Coleman of Claremont, NH, and his girlfriend Leah Rechisky; her daughters Tammy L. Coleman of Newport Beach, CA, and Tabatha J. Coleman of Claremont, NH, and her boyfriend Shawn Partlow; grandchildren Zackary Coleman of Plainfield, NH, and Angelleea Coleman of Claremont, NH, and Charlie Tatro and Sammy-Jo Curtis of Newport, NH; and her beloved great grandchildren Leah and Aiden of Claremont, NH. She is also survived by her mother Virginia Durphey of Ascutney, VT; two sisters Nancy Brooks Williams of Virginia and Patty Gale Williams of Windsor, VT; also a brother Richard Coleman, also of Windsor, VT; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers Roger Coleman of Newport, VT, and Peter Coleman of Ascutney, VT; and a sister-in law, Theresa Coleman also of Ascutney, VT; as well as two brother-in laws, Peter Brooks of Vermont and Mike Williams of Virginia.
While Susan never married, she lived a full and vibrant life with more friends than you could count. Her grandchildren meant more to her than words can describe. She was also an active member of Polish American Club and The American Legion. We will miss her dearly.
A small intimate celebration of life was recently held for Susan. Friends and Family can send cards to her family at 177 Hanover St., Claremont NH. 03743
