Rose Marie Whipple, of Claremont, NH, passed away on October 10, 2017, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.
She was born in Newport, NH, the daughter of Clarence R. and Louise C. Whipple.
She was a graduate of Towle High School in the class of 1960.
Rose and her husband, Allen owned and operated General Auto Salvage.
The family includes her husband of 57 years, Allen L. Whipple; their children, Laurie Hillebrand and her husband, Thomas and their children, Victoria Kendziora, Michael Hillebrand, Thomas Hoisington, Aimee Lapiana and Morgan Hillebrand; Allen Whipple and his children, Arielle Whipple, Madelyn Whipple and Connor Whipple; Lana Farris and her husband, Edward and their children, Anthony Accardi, Alex Farris, Allen Farris and Alexis Farris; 11 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and her English bulldog, Maxwell.
She was predeceased by her parents and two sisters, Marjorie and Carol.
Visiting hours will be held at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Saturday, October 14th, from 3 to 5 PM. A memorial service will follow the visiting hours at 5 PM with Priscilla Hull. A gathering will be held at the former Methodist Church at 27 Sullivan Street in Claremont.
