He was born in Randolph, VT, on July 29, 1931 the son of Loyd and Evelina (Benware) Martin.
Dick was a member of the American Legion, Post 36 of Ludlow.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and eating ice cream. He had his pilot’s license and liked flying planes.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene M. (Cornell) Martin of Mount Holly and several cousins.
Visiting hours will be held at Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Saturday, March 10th from 2 to 3 PM. A prayer service will be at 3 PM. Burial will be held in Pine Crest Cemetery in Charlestown in the spring.
