Pauline I. Dansereau, 86, of 243 Broad Street in Claremont, NH, died Tuesday (June 13, 2017) at Valley Regional Hospital following a brief period of failing health.
She was born in Claremont, NH, on April 7, 1931, the daughter of William J. and Mary (Pond) Sylvester and had been a Claremont resident since 1990, returning here from Chicago where she resided from 1954 – 1990. Pauline had been employed as a shipping clerk by Belmore Mfg. Co. in Chicago for 18 years. She was a former Woman of the Moose.
Members of her family include her husband, Earl J. Dansereau, Claremont, NH whom she married on June 5, 1948, two daughters, Rosemary Alicea, Claremont, NH; Sharon Miller, Phoenix, AZ; six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, a sister, Marie Dansereau, Claremont, NH; a brother, William J. Sylvester, Jr., Claremont, NH and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Theresa Riel.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Saturday at St. Mary’s Church with the Rev. Shawn M. Therrien, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Roy Funeral Home, 93 Sullivan Street, Claremont, NH on Friday evening from 6 – 8 pm. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Dr #110, Bedford, NH 03110.
