Nathan B. Martell, 38, of Charlestown, NH, gained his angel wings on December 14, 2021, peacefully in his sleep after many years of illness.
Nate ,“the hammer”, as he was known by many, was born June 22, 1983, to Brad and Gloria (Granger) Martell. He married Keri Bonneville in 2007 and had 3 beautiful children, later divorcing yet continuing to co-parent.
Nate was a little guy that was larger than life. Always had a smile on his face and a story to share. Many nights you could find him at Wades Garage, being the background noise while Scott tinkered on the 06-street stock. He was a regular at Claremont Motorsports Park where you could see him with his headset on giving his two cents after a race. His proudest racing accomplishment came this season when his nephew finished 6th in points and was NH’s modified Rookie of the Year. Nate also did his fair share of hunting and fishing, mounting almost everything he got.
Nathan is survived by his parents, Brad and Gloria; his three children, Kenzie, Logan, and Ryder; their mother, Keri; his sister, Christy; his nephew, Andrew; his niece, Madison and several aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alfred and Paula Martell and Helen and Andrew Granger. Most recently by his uncle and favorite fishing and hunting partner, John Granger.
A celebration of life is planned for June of 2022 to celebrate his birthday. Details at a later date.
The Stringer Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
