Margaret Elizabeth Bauver, formerly of Claremont, NH, died on April 1, 2017 in Gardner, MA.
She was born in Claremont, NH, on September 18, 1927, the daughter of Elwin and Olga (Peterson) Breed.
Margaret was a graduate of Stevens High School, Class of 1945.
She took great pride in raising her children, family was everything to her. She was an avid reader. She was very active in the First Congregational Church and later in St John’s Episcopal Church in Northampton.
Family includes her daughter, Karen Knox of El Paso, TX; two sons, David Bauver of Winchendon, MA, and Paul Bauver of West Chester, PA; three grandchildren, Jonathan Bauver, Victoria Bauver and Hayden Bauver; and two great grandchildren, James Bauver and Sadie Bauver.
She was predeceased by her husband, James W. Bauver; a daughter, Kristin Bauver; her parents; a sister, Eleanor Breed and a brother, Richard Breed.
Visiting hours will be held at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Monday evening, April 10th, from 6 to 8 PM.
Funeral service will be held at the First Congregational Church in Claremont on Tuesday morning at 11 AM with Pastor John Johnson officiating. Burial will be held in the Quaker City Cemetery in Unity at a later date. Donations may be made in her memory to the charity of one’s choice.
