Margaret Adah Pluta, 76 of Old Claremont Road, Charlestown, NH, died Sunday afternoon June 19, 2016, at the Sullivan County Nursing Home. She was born in Windsor, VT, on Dec. 10, 1939, the adopted daughter of Fred and Loretta (St. Martin) Caliri and had resided in Claremont nearly all her life and in lived in Charlestown since 1982. She retired May 31, 2002, from the Valley Regional Hospital where she was a Radiological Technologist for 39 years and three months. She was a former member and Past President of the Emblem Club also a member and Past Secretary of the Claremont Country Club. The family includes her mother, her husband, Stephen Joseph Pluta of Charlestown whom she married on Dec. 5, 1982; one step-son, Larry Pluta of Michigan City, IN. She was preceded in death by one brother, David John Pavlik. A memorial service will be held at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad St. Claremont, NH on Thursday morning, June 23rd, at 11AM with Father George Majka officiating. Visiting hours will be held from 10 to 11 prior to the service. A reception will follow at the Claremont Country Club.
