Linda Poirier, born Linda Emeline Kingsbury on October 24, 1947, to parents Lyle Warren Kingsbury and Loretta Marie LaCroix Kingsbury, passed away on November 21, 2018, into the Arms Of Our Heavenly Father. Parents, Lyle Warren Kingsbury passed on September 21, 2018, and Loretta Marie Kingsbury passed in September, 1989; formally from Portsmouth and Claremont, NH. Stepmother, Helen Kingsbury who passed in April, 2016, and a deceased sister, Dolores Elinita LaCroix from Orlando, FL.
Linda is survived by her son, Michael Paul Poirier and his wife, Anita from Berwick, ME, and tw step grandsons and a stepgreat grandson, her granddaughter, Jennifer DeRosa, and two great grandchildren of Claremont, NH. Two surviving siblings, Gary Lyle Kingsbury from Epsom, NH, and Marie Loretta LaFlower and her brother-in-law, Wayne E. LaFlower from Laconia, NH. Nieces, Tracy Marie Paniaqua, Lancaster, Ca. Shantowa Nee, CA, Nephews, Robert and Richard LaFlower, Laconia, NH, Chad Kingsbury, Missouri, Jessy and Kenneth Kingsbury, Fred Avery and his wife Jennifer from Berwick, ME, William Welker, AZ and Gary Welker, IL Sixteen great nieces and nephews and great, great nephews.
Linda was a beloved aunt to all her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She would entertain the youngsters with song and dance and scripture. Linda’s attributes was her love for her family, especially her ailing mother and father’s care, her love for nature and her canine friends. She loved her Catholic Church and faith and her Rosary. Linda took cause to watch for her loved ones souls by having Masses for the ill and passing of family or friend. Linda’s meatloaves was always delivered to a neighbor in need when she lived in Charlestown, NH. Changes of seasons always awakened a spiritual revelation to Linda. How the earth took a new change and her favorite stars of alignment always peeked Linda’s curiosity and she enjoying the bounty of seasons, picking berries, looking for four leaf clover and walking her pets. In her younger days she took delight in running.
Linda will missed for the humor, singing, dancing and her spiritual advice and the love we hold for her as a sister, mother and aunt. God now has a angel in his choir.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 PM on Friday (Nov. 30) in St. Mary’s Church with the Rev. Shawn M. Therrien, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
