Jesse Jay Loring, passed away on August 30, 2017, from a long time battle with addiction which he fought every day of his life. Jesse was born on December 12, 1977, at DHMC. Jesse was a graduate of Stevens High School in the class of 1996. When Jesse was Jesse he was a loving and caring father, brother and son. Jesse was self-employed as a contractor. He loved working with his hands and took pride in his work. He loved Johnny Cash and was very talented playing his guitar and writing music. In his younger years, he raced motor cross, loved skateboarding and soccer. He will be missed by all that came into his life. He was there with an open mind and tried to help everyone. Jesse is survived by his son, Evan Cooper Loring; his daughter, Emma Lynn Loring; his mother, Susan Scruton of Unity; his father, Dave Loring of Lempster; his brother, David Loring and two nephews, Aaron and Josh of Unity; several aunts, uncles and cousins; also a special friend, Sarah and her son, Kylan. Jesse was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Sidney and Shirley Brown, and his paternal grandparents, Stanley and Harriet Loring. Visiting hours will be held at Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Saturday, September 9th from 10 to 12PM. A memorial service will be held at 12 PM with Priscilla Hull officiating. Burial will be held in Center Cemetery in Unity. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Driven by Circumstance, 60 Depot Street, Franklin, NH.
