Jean Frances Weed, 82, of Claremont, NH, died Friday morning November 29, 2019, at Valley Regional Hospital.
She was born in Claremont, NH, on May 13, 1937, the daughter of Owen J. and Florence C. (Moahn) Murphy.
Jean was a dietary aide at the Stevens High School Annex and then most of her years at Valley Regional Hospital.
She married her husband James A. Weed on July 23, 1955; he died on March 3, 1972.
The family includes two daughters, Karen McCusker and her husband, Peter of Claremont, and Beth Morin and her husband, Norman of North Carolina; one son, Keith Weed and his wife, Janet of Charlestown, NH; her grandchildren, Jon McCusker, Alison McCusker, Kyle Morin, Kara Morin, Amanda Weed, Zachary Weed and James Weed; her great grandchildren, Joanie, Maggie, Elsie, James, Ethan and Morgan; two sisters, Joan Lewis and Elisabeth Egberg.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Margret Ferland.
There will be no visiting hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Mary’s Church on Tuesday, morning, December 3rd at 11 A.M.
Burial will follow in St Mary’s Cemetery.
The Stringer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
