Jason Scott Malia, age 29, of Claremont, NH, died unexpectedly in his home on March 19, 2019. He will be greatly missed by his family and the countless friends he leaves behind.
He was known for his ever present smile, his sense of humor and the affection and hugs that he shared with those he loved. Jason enjoyed spending time with his family and being a loving father to his daughters. He was a man of boundless optimism and joy which was felt by anyone in his presence. Jason attended schools in Claremont, NH, New Smyrna Beach, FL, and Las Vegas, NV. He lived in Las Vegas, Nevada until his recent return to Claremont in the fall of 2018.
Jason leaves behind his wife, Alexis Romo-Weston; his daughters, Amelia and Scarlett; his parents, Denise and Matthew Malia, all of Claremont, NH; his brother, Benjamin Malia of Deland, FL; his sister, Katie Malia of Greenville, KY; his in-laws, Anthony and Jessica Romo and their sons Joshua, John and David of Las Vegas, NV. He also leaves behind many friends that he considered sisters and brothers. He also leaves behind his much beloved companion and support, Bowser, the wolf dog that he raised from birth.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to his wife Alexis and their two children. A Celebration of his life will be announced and held at a later date.
The Stringer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
