nee: Ginger Lee Gnatek
It is with great sadness that we announce that Ginger Lee Chan passed away on April 19, 2022. She fought a good fight but finally succumbed to liver cancer.
Ginger was a lifelong resident of Claremont, NH. She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting at Plymouth State University in 1996.
She was a para teacher in the Claremont grade school system for many years, which was the highlight of her life. She loved all the kids she taught and carried each one of them in her heart. She also tutored many of them outside of school.
She loved to volunteer at the Sullivan County Animal shelter in Claremont. She adored her “kitty cats” and wanted to save them all.
Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends going out for lunch and afternoon shopping.
Her fun spirit and big heart will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends.
There will be a memorial service to celebrate her life on May 14, 2022, at the River Stone church, 739 Main St, Claremont NH, at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers Ginger has asked for donations to be made to the Sullivan County Humane Society or the River Stone church community outreach program.
The Stringer Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
