Faith Ann (Reilly) LaBelle, 79 of Claremont, NH, died peacefully at home on Monday June 6, 2022, after a long battle with cancer.
Born in Troy, NY, on August 31, 1942, she grew up in Hoosick Falls, NY. She attended St. Mary’s Academy and graduated from Hoosick Falls (NY) High School in 1960.
After high school, Faith attended Mary McClellan Hospital School of X-ray in Cambridge, NY. Upon graduating from the training program, she started her Radiology Technician career at Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital in Hanover, NH.
She married Timothy R. LaBelle of Lebanon, NH, on August 28, 1964. They started their lives together in Lebanon, NH, moving to North Hartland, VT, until 1970 when they moved to Claremont, NH.
She started working for Valley Regional Hospital in 1970 where she retired after 40+ year career in Radiology (Nuclear Medicine Technician) and related specialties.
In retirement, she was dedicated to spending time with her grandchildren at the family camp in Vermont, watching their sporting events, or volunteering at several local charities. She was a volunteer at the Claremont Soup Kitchen, NH AARP, St. Vincent de Paul Center and the Claremont Senior Center. Both watching her grandchildren grow and giving back to the community brought her great joy.
Faith was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend. She is survived by her loving husband Timothy of 57 years; daughter Rebecca (LaBelle) Nichols and her husband Rob, son Brian; grandchildren Robert ‘Buck’ Nichols and twin granddaughters Reagan and Reilly Nichols; a brother James P. Reilly, his daughters Karen Reilly Weiskopf and her husband William, their daughters Hadley and Scarlett, Veronica (Reilly) Granich and her husband Charles, their daughters Maeve and Aviva; and many wonderful friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, M. Madeline (Fleming) Reilly and John H Reilly.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Claremont Soup Kitchen at 53 Central Street Claremont NH 03743.
A Funeral Mass and Burial will be held privately.
The Stringer Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
