David W. LaClair, 57, of Puckershire Avenue in Claremont, NH, died Sunday (Feb. 19, 2017) at Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont, NH, following a period of failing health.
He was born in Claremont, NH, on June 25, 1959, the son of Robert and Shirley (Johns) LaClair and had been a lifetime resident. David had been employed as a maintenance service technician that was responsible for cleaning area stores. He was a former member of the Claremont Moose and Eagles Lodges. David was an excellent horseshoe player and belonged to the New England Horseshoe Association.
Members of his family include two daughters, Sara LaClair and Crystal Currier both of Claremont, NH; three grandchildren, Annika Ratcliffe, Katelyn Leslie, Kyle Currier, a brother, Kenneth LaClair, Oviedo, FL; four sisters, Darlene LaClair, Sue LaClair, Brenda LaClair, all of Claremont, NH, and Marlene Shull, Newport, NH, and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visiting hours. A Celebration of David’s life will be held from 1 – 4 pm on Saturday (Feb. 25) at the American Legion Hall, 119 Broad Street, Claremont, NH. Services will be conducted at 2:30 pm by Rev. Donna Leslie.
