Craig L. Shute, 68, of Unity, NH, passed away on February 24, 2019, at the Jack Byrne Center in Lebanon, NH.
Craig was born in Claremont on July 4, 1950, the son of Lawrence Shute and Beverly (Lord) McDaniels.
He worked at Top Stone, Sturm Ruger and for the White River Post Office where he retired from after 23 years of service.
He enjoyed residing in Unity, NH, where he dedicated many years to the school board.
Craig is survived by his girlfriend, Julie Sablock; two daughters, Rebecca Shute and Naomi (Shute) Lafont and her husband, James; two granddaughters, Morgan and Madison Lafont; two brothers, Douglas Shute and his wife, Nancy and Mark Shute and his wife, Tausha; stepbrothers, stepsister, several nieces, nephews, cousins, uncle and aunt.
Craig was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Deborah Plante.
The family would like to thank the Jack Byrne Center for the care they gave to Craig.
A combined service for Craig and his sister Deborah will be held on Saturday afternoon, March 9th at 3PM at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont. Visiting hours will be prior to the service from 1 to 3PM.
A reception will follow at the American Legion on Broad Street in Claremont.
Graveside services will be held in the spring at Center Cemetery in Unity.
