Cody Ray Simoneau, 22, of Claremont, NH, passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 1, 2019.
He was born in Claremont on September 10, 1996, to Raymond Simoneau III and Lisa (Henault) Simoneau. He graduated from Stevens High School and was employed at Whelen Engineering as a laser operator.
For those of us that knew and loved Cody, knew that he enjoyed building anything and everything, avidly cleaning his beloved Chrysler 300, shooting one of his many guns, and spending the majority of his free time watching Netflix with his three tortoises. People instantly grew a fondness for Cody’s loyal and witty personality. More importantly, he was a respectful, stubborn, humorous man that kept us all on our toes. His dry jokes and half smirk will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his mother, Lisa (Henault) Simoneau of Claremont; his father, Raymond Simoneau III and wife Traci of Claremont; his siblings, Nicole Simoneau of Claremont, Greg Balcom of Charlestown, and Jasmine and her husband Zach Larson and their children, Rowan and Willow of LaCrosse, Wisconsin; aunt and uncle, Michael and Kim Henault of Newport; great uncle, Dorlan Picard of Claremont; cousins, Nicholas Henault of Newport, and Amanda Henault of Manchester; and a special step-brother, Chris Barry of Charlestown.
He was predeceased by maternal grandparents, George and Lorraine Dutilley of Claremont; and paternal grandparents, Raymond Sr and Gloria Simoneau of Claremont.
