Where did it touch down
Yes.. Tornados are 'rare' here in northern New England. They are particularly dangerous and harmful in densely populated areas and again in sparsely populated areas. Worse yet after dark when all are asleep in bed and one comes upon you with no warning. They can be devastating as TV video clips have shown for years. What's more, is one has to be in the path to be 'in harms way'. If you are 'scared', you should be. Best advice is to move yourself and loved ones (pets included!) to the center of your home, away from all glass, preferably in a hallway, or better yet into a cellar. If you are on the road, drive perpendicular to the tornado path, (Tornados usually move North and East). Having lived in Oklahoma for well over 7 years, I've met up with some monsters. Been caught between two moving down the road.. One behind, chasing me, the other in front, and no where to go... Hail the size of oranges falling from in front of the funnel cloud. You get the picture..!
