Cammy Rae Forsaith, age 49, ended her six- year-long, hard fought battle with cancer. Cammy passed Friday April 28, 2017 at approximately 4:18pm. She was surrounded by her loving family and close friends when she peacefully left this earth.
Cammy was born in Claremont, NH, on June 6, 1967, the daughter of Sandra Fluery (Brown) and David Forsaith. She attended Stevens High School and then continued on and received a degree in cosmetology. She loved people and her jobs. Whether it was doing her thing in the salon, or working as a teller at the bank. She was always immersed in human interaction, and putting smiles on faces became her easiest job to do.
She loved people and inspired so many. From the time of her birth to the moment of her last breath, she stole everyone’s hearts with her infectious smile.
She spent her remaining years in Claremont, but was always in love with the ocean. You would never see a vehicle of hers without a “salt life” sticker on it.
Cammy was always so full of life! She tackled life head on, without fear, without compromise, and without concession. A trait to be admired, because we only have one life to live.
She lived life fully and without hesitation, which is why we were all able to watch this amazing woman fight until the very end. She touched so many people throughout her journey that we call life. Anyone who knew her, loved her. It was hard not to. The love that radiated so purely throughout any room she was present in, was almost tangible. She was a loving mother, world’s best Mimi, beloved daughter, a protector of her younger sister, and an amazing, amazing Aunty.
She was predeceased and reunited with her GG, Uncle Jon, Uncle Ed, Grammy Hayes, Gram Pardy, Uncle Butch, her nephew Cody, and her childhood best friend Mandy.
Cammy left behind many family members including her daughter and grandchildren, who she loved more than life, Desiree Wood and her partner Kevin; grandchildren, Aiden, Bentley, and Rae-Ahna; her stepmother, Judy Forsaith; Grampa Peter; her sister Melissa, and husband Kenneth LaFont; her compassionate nephew Bryan, and wife Kamryn Zeller; her very special nieces Alisha, and husband Dakota Sharp and Hailee LaFont.
Her sister cousins, Wendi, Sherri, and Kristi; cousins, Gary, Randy, Rick, Marvin, Andrea, Stephanie, Shawn, Crystal, Dawn, Adrienne, Andrea, Craig, Robin, and Ralph; Aunt Milena, Bunty, Uncle Jim and Aunt Linda, Aunt Pati, Uncle Bill and Aunt Joyce, Uncle Dick, and Aunt Gerda.
Her best friends, David and Karen Devito, Lisa Dubreuil, Jim and Roxanne Dube; many other friends, too many to mention.
There will be no calling hours per Cammy’s request. A celebration of Cammy’s life and her 50th birthday celebration, which she was looking forward to having, will be held at Grace River Church in Claremont on June 3rd at 4:00pm. The celebration will continue at the Claremont Senior Center.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Cammy’s name to Make a Wish, CHaD, and St. Jude’s Children’s hospital.
