With the incoming high heat index in the triple digits for this weekend, we will be open to the public for a cooling station from 0900 to 2000. If anyone needs to get away from the heat we have ice cold air conditioning, and will have cold water. Feel free to stop by and cool down.
Please remember not to leave pets or people in cars. Leave your pets at home inside with ac. And check on the elderly frequently. If you are working outside remember to take frequent breaks, and stay hydrated. If you have yard work to do its best to do it early or later in the evening when it is cooler.
Stay safe out there.
If it's open to the public why the need for proof of residency? It should be available to everyone
