New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph A. Foster and Assistant Commissioner of the Department of Safety and Acting Colonel of the State Police Robert Quinn announce that an autopsy has been conducted on Cody Lafont (age 25), who died on September 25, 2016, on Congress Street in Claremont during a confrontation with police. The AG’s office said that Lafont was shot three times during that confrontation, three times in the chest. The manner of death has been ruled a homicide.
The circumstances that led to Lafont’s death are still being investigated and no other information is available at this time.
