Antoinette V. Perrotto, 89 of Claremont, NH, died Wednesday (October 6, 2021) at the Woodlawn Care Center in Newport, NH, following a period of failing health. She was known to her friends as “Toni” and to her family as “Nanette”.
She was born in Claremont, NH, on November 17, 1931, the daughter of Gilles and Lydia (George) Pinard and had been a lifetime Claremont resident. “Toni” had been employed by J.J. Newberry, Claremont General Hospital, and Hannaford, she also owned and operated Michael’s Restaurant in Windsor, VT. She was an avid golfer.
Members of her family include two daughters, Patricia Murphy and her husband, Michael, Newport, NH; Paula Dumont and her husband, Mark, Derby Line, VT; four grandchildren, Jordan Murphy and his fiancé, Sarah Blackman, Joshua Murphy and his girlfriend, Darby Wellman, Catherine Ward and her husband, Ryan, Matthew Dumont, one great grandchild, Brannen Ward, two brothers, Roger Pinard, Florida; Roland Pinard, Maine, three sisters, Loretta Granger, Marie Duranleau Arlene Formichelli all of Claremont, NH and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a son, Peter Perrotto, a daughter, Pamela Slade, her former husband, Edward Perrotto, the love of her life, Walter “Michael” Merrigan, a brother, Robert Pinard, two sisters, Irene Davis, Janet Pinard and two nephews, Scott Pinard and Roger Pinard, Jr.
There will be no visiting hours. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Woodlawn Care Center, Patient Activity Fund, 84 Pine Street, Newport, NH 03773.
