Anthony Michael Ouellette, 36, of Claremont, NH, died unexpectedly on Thursday (September 10, 2020).
He was born in Claremont, NH, on January 21, 1984, the son of Michael and Karen (Breault) Ouellette and had been a longtime area resident. He was a graduate of Stevens High School, Class of 2002. Anthony had been employed as stone worker and front-end loader operator by Gilbert Block in Tamworth, NH. While in high school, he played soccer and was a member of the track team. He enjoyed fishing and had a knack for catching fish when others with him were not able to even get a nibble. Anthony also enjoyed snowboarding, drawing, singing, video games, music and computers. He loved his family and friends and always preferred a hug rather than a handshake.
Members of his family include his parents, Michael and Karen Ouellette, Claremont, NH; a sister, Nicole Ouellette and her partner, Hugh Adam, Franklin Park, IL; aunts and uncles, including Kevin Breault, Gary and Mary Ann Ouellette, Judy and Donald Tacy, Darlene and Michael Clark and Randy and Marcia Ouellette as well as several cousins.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Frances Breault, his paternal grandparents, Elizabeth and Edward Ouellette.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday (September 16) at the Roy Funeral home, 93 Sullivan Street, Claremont, NH with the Rev. Arockia Antony, pastor of St. Joseph Parish, officiating. Committal services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Friends may call at the Roy Funeral Home on Wednesday morning from 9:00 am until the time of services.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Claremont, Soup Kitchen, 53 Central Street, Claremont, NH 03743.
