NH DHHS COVID-19 Update – January 23, 2021Concord, NH – On Saturday, January 23, 2021, DHHS announced 636 new positive test results for COVID-19, for a current PCR test positivity rate of 3.7%. Today’s results include 466 people who tested positive by PCR test and 170 who tested positive by antigen test. There are now 5,951 current COVID-19 cases diagnosed in New Hampshire. Of the results reported today: 1/21: 198 new cases today, for an updated total of 630 cases 1/22: 438 new casesTest results for previous days are still being processed and the total number of new positives for those days are not yet complete. Several cases are still under investigation. Additional information from ongoing investigations will be incorporated into future COVID-19 updates. Of those with complete information, there are ninety-four individuals under the age of 18 and the rest are adults with 51% being female and 49% being male. The new cases reside in Rockingham (137), Hillsborough County other than Manchester and Nashua (101), Strafford (56), Sullivan (51), Merrimack (32), Grafton (27), Belknap (25), Carroll (19), Cheshire (19), and Coos (12) counties, and in the cities of Manchester (74) and Nashua (55). The county of residence is being determined for twenty-eight new cases.Community-based transmission continues to occur in the State and has been identified in all counties. Of those with complete risk information, most of the cases are either associated with an outbreak setting or have had close contact with a person with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis.DHHS has also announced ten additional deaths related to COVID-19. NH DHHS COVID-19 Update – January 22, 2021Concord, NH – On Friday, January 22, 2021, DHHS announced 724 new positive test results for COVID-19, for a current PCR test positivity rate of 3.6%. Today’s results include 447 people who tested positive by PCR test and 277 who tested positive by antigen test. There are now 6,207 current COVID-19 cases diagnosed in New Hampshire. Of the results reported today: 1/19: 5 new cases today, for an updated total of 687 cases 1/20: 278 new cases today, for an updated total of 705 cases 1/21: 441 new cases Test results for previous days are still being processed and the total number of new positives for those days are not yet complete. Several cases are still under investigation. Additional information from ongoing investigations will be incorporated into future COVID-19 updates. Of those with complete information, there are one hundred and fourteen individuals under the age of 18 and the rest are adults with 48% being female and 52% being male. The new cases reside in Rockingham (159), Hillsborough County other than Manchester and Nashua (121), Merrimack (60), Strafford (52), Grafton (37), Belknap (31), Coos (29), Cheshire (28), Sullivan (23), and Carroll (19) counties, and in the cities of Manchester (66) and Nashua (66).
