Scott was an active member of the American Legion Post #29 in Claremont, a member of AARP, and a former member of the Loyal Order of the Moose-Claremont Chapter.
His favorite past times included karate, scuba diving, woodworking, boating, fishing, attending local school sporting events, antiquing, “yard sailing” and enjoyed decorating his yard with seasonal decorations.
Scott is survived by his wife of 46 years, Rita (Riviezzo) Quintey, of Claremont NH, by his nephew Jonathan F. Stone Claremont NH, his niece Lianne M. (Stone) Heiser Claremont NH, great nephews US Marine Corporal Christian M. Stone of Camp Lejeune NC, Nicholas M. Stone of Claremont NH, Brother & Sister in Law, Stuart and Mary Stone of Claremont NH. He is also survived by many other cousins.
Calling hours will be at Stringer Funeral Home on Broad Street Claremont NH on Wednesday, July 25, 2-4pm and 6-8pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Church Elm Street Claremont, at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 26, followed by burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shriner’s Hospitals for Children, Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock (CHaD), or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
