Roger W. Boisvert, 84, of Manchester, NH, passed away on September 3, 2017.
He was born in Manchester on August 1, 1933, the son of Theodore and Yvonne (Thouin) Boisvert.
Roger owned and operated Fred Allen Jewelers as well as Wilson Jewelers in Springfield and Claremont Jewelers.
He was member of the Kiwanis Club and Rotary Club in both Portsmouth and Claremont as well as a member of the Chamber of Commerce.
He was an avid golfer and enjoyed many sports and watching Broadway shows.
Roger is survived by his longtime companion, Terry Cole of Manchester and her daughters, Bonnie Andrews and Melissa Dube; his three sons, Paul W. Boisvert, Richard L. Boisvert and his wife, Debi and Thomas T. Boisvert and his wife, Stephanie; his brother, Robert Boisvert and his wife, Anita; his sister, Pauline Marcoux; three granddaughters, Sharon, Kimberly and Savannah; six grandsons, Matthew, Michael, Myles, Alexander, Dustin and Brian; two great grandsons, Deshawn and Dominic also many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by Elizabeth Pineo and brother-in-law, Andy Marcoux.
Visiting hours will be held at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Sunday, September 10th, from 2 to 6 PM.
Burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association or a charity of one’s choice.
