Donald enjoyed farming, gardening, fishing, hunting, holidays with family, and watching wildlife.
His surviving family includes his companion, Judy Gilman; his two daughters, Laurie A. Germain of Deleware, Linda M. MacEachern of Massachusetts; two sons, Rodney A. Kennett of New York, Bradley W. Kennett of Kentucky; siblings, Mona Sweat, Wayne Kennett, Wendall Kennett, James Kennett, Dale McGivern; 14 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Kennett; siblings, Terry Kennett, Gloria Colburn, Bonnie Dalley, Judy Colburn, and Elaine LaBounty.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 24th at 3:00 pm at the Charlestown Memorial Chapel, 34 Main Street in Charlestown. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00 pm. Burial will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery.
