Deborah R. Plante, resident of Claremont, NH, formerly of Rochester, NH, passed away on Wednesday, February 27th, 2019, peacefully at home at the age of 66.
Deborah Ruth Marion Plante was born on August 16th, 1952, in Claremont, NH. She was raised by her mother, Beverly Lord, and her father, Lawrence Shute. She married Roger Plante on July 8th, 1985. Together, they owned Debro Manufacturing. Sadly, Roger passed away on August 24th, 2009.
Debbie enjoyed spending her time with family and friends. She loved bird watching, crafting, and her cats, Amy and Eve. Debbie was the most accepting, caring, and loving individual one would ever meet. She was always happy to help anyone with anything.
She will be sadly missed by her son John Dole, her stepdaughter Tarah Williams, and her stepson David Plante. Altogether, Debbie had seven grandchildren. Her brothers Douglas Shute along with his wife Nancy, and Mark Shute along with his wife Tausha will miss her also. She will be missed by her stepbrothers Ricky Melcher and Robert Melcher along with his wife Gwen. Her stepsister, Carrie Melcher will miss her also. Her beloved lifelong friends Brett and Donna Ploss along with their two children, Maria Grenier and Nathan Ploss. Julie Sablock, another lifelong friend of Debbie’s, will also miss her tremendously.
Debbie was predeceased by her parents Lawrence Shute and Beverly Lord, her sister Donna Laraway, and her brother Craig Shute. She was also predeceased by her daughter in law Marti Dole.
A combined service for Deborah and her brother Craig will be held on Saturday, afternoon, March 9th at 3PM at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont. Visiting hours will be prior to the service from 1 to 3PM.
A reception will follow at the American Legion on Broad Street in Claremont.
