Charles “Bill” Willard Hager, Jr., 73, of Fisher Place in Claremont, NH, died on Monday evening, August 8, 2016, at Mount Ascutney Hospital in Windsor. He was born in Long Island, NY on July 16, 1943, the son of Charles W. and Evelyn P. (Coster) Hager. Bill had worked for TWA and the Lebanon Airport. He enjoyed watching football, baseball and hockey. He is survived by his sister, Noel Powers of Claremont and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Joyce Oberkotter and her husband, Bob and two nephews, Keith Powers and Robert P. Oberkotter. Funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, August 12th, at 11 AM with Rev. Marthe Dyner officiating. Burial will follow in the West Claremont Burying Ground. A reception will be held at 13 Fisher Place in Claremont. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Sullivan County Humane Society, P.O. Box 111, Claremont, NH 03743.
